He Wears the Shorts in the Family

Photobucket
Today is the 100th day of school.

Which means 100 days of shorts for Owen.

The average high in the morning is probably high 40's/low 50's.

I think the lowest I've noticed was 34 degrees.

And yet every day he insists on shorts.

He may not have perfect attendance or on-time-ness.

But he has a perfect shorts-wearing record.

We aim high.

ps today feels like the 100th day of rain

I had to chuckle. Cory was a shorts wearer, too. When we went to his Great Grandpa Hanks' funeral, Cory asked why the body had a ring on his finger. I tried to explain that that people are buried with things that are special to them. Later during the service, Cory whispered to me, "I want to be buried in a t-shirt and shorts." :-)
We're anxiously waiting and praying for the tests Justin is preparing to take.
Golly - another relocation! We enjoy how you get out to see the sights, and we look forward to learning more about Atlanta.

YOur good mom Shauna I always tell Cal no shorts unless it is sunny and you know how often that is.

Okay so I just saw that your going to Georgia! Awesome! I would have picked it too. I can just feel that your going to love it!
I bet you will make some great play group that goes to the orchards to pick peaches, I will wish I was there all the time to hang with the coolest girl I know.

My son is a shorts wearer too. I'm not as nice as you though since I make him wear pants on cold days. We usually have to compromise, if he wears pants he gets to wear a short sleeved shirt.

I spent 4 years at Ft. Gordon. My two oldest were born in Augusta. I loved it there. I'm excited for you!

Good for Owen! He knows what he wants!
LOL, I don't give Porter that option...to know what he wants. I micro-manage too much, I think ;) You ARE a good mom, I agree with Sarah.

I'm back in the blogging world. Try to contain your excitement. I love Owen't shorts almost as much as his star wars sweatshirt! And where in the world do you do your "sally shopping"? She is too cute! Red shoes, oh my, Addie would kill for those!
Oh, the high chair is from toys r us (online only), but I think Target might carry the same one too.
