Peaches

About to be eating a lot of them cause we're headed to Georgia!

Justin will be stationed at Ft. Gordon in Augusta, GA sometime this summer.

Kind of funny that our options based on availability were:
Hawaii
Oceanside, CA
Georgia

And of those 3 choices we chose GA.

CA and Hawaii are super deployable.

There's a very good chance Justin won't deploy at all from GA.

And if we don't have to go through that again...

(taken right before Justin's last deployment to Iraq in July 2007)

Georgia it is!

Oh Shauna! I was laughing so hard! GA will certainly be an adventure! You can learn some southern cookin' and eat grits. lol. I really hope Justin doesn't get deployed!

Dang, I was hoping for Oceanside cuz then I'd for surely get to come visit you. But if the chances are greater for Justy to get deployed there than I'm super happy about you becoming a southern bell.

Good for you if you can stay all together there. We will miss you when you leave though.

I think you mean Ft. Gordon. Unless you're going to Maryland. Then you'd be up the street (the parkway) from me (an hour or so). Congrats on no deployments!! But if it really is GA, then there are lots of cool people there. Apparently no one lives in base housing because it's crap and housing is so inexpensive there, most just buy. Good luck!

TOTALLY meant Ft. Gordon. Thanks for catching the typo! Meade in Maryland was another option that we thought we might want but they had no availability. I think I'd rather Gordon, though...no snow!

Georgia sounds awesome! Hooray for being a thousand miles closer to us! (not that that means much because we live so far away)

Well then HOORAY for Georgia! I hope you get a nice long stay together there!

Hey-Oh! I drove past that sign a handful of times. I can't wait for us to bond over the South and for Sally Belle to be a Southern Belle

Two things that I wanted to chat about and this is the only way I knew to reach you. First I would love to do pics for you guys and as far as I know the 20th would workout. Second I have an invite for Sally for a little birthday party for Benson next Sat. Maybe you could e-mail me and I could send you back the info.?? snh42001@yahoo.com Thanks! Congrats again on making such a big decision, that has to be a weight off your shoulders!

Well since we will be in CA someday, once this house sells, makes me sad you won't be there. But yeah for a few years of staying together. :)
