Point Pinos Lighthouse

This is the oldest continuously operating lighthouse on the West Coast.

It's like 5 minutes away and this is our first visit after living here 1 year (on Saturday to be exact).

I loved this place...not sure if it's because it's a major step up from the taxidermy museum we were going to visit or what. I just did.

And I'm not sure what made me more happy,
the lighthouse or this grassy field.

Apparently it didn't make him happy, though.
Too prickly.

How fun! We tried to go once, but it was closed. Maybe we should try again and be cool like you.

Cool! So this isn't the one on the way down to Big Sur on the right? Where is this one? Looks like fun.

And those grassy pictures make ME happy!

What setting/filter did you use at the camera? Or did you play with them at the comp?

Gorgeous shots!
