That's so cute! We feed the ducks all the time here. A couple of times while we were bbq-ing they came over to our patio so we fed them old cereal and almost bad bread. We have a crabby neighboor (i'm sure i've mentioned him in a post) lol, he saw us feeding ducks on our front porch and came out and said we werent allowed too. We just kept doing it cause theres no rule and the kids were enjoying it, then he came out wsith his hose and sprayed them all away and also sprayed the kids bread that they were holding. I laugh now, cause he's crazy, but at the time i was very peeved, haha.
Yeah, the kids were totally bummed because we couldn't feed the ducks. We have everywhere else we've lived, but I guess when you feed them it attracts them, and they tell their friends and it just builds from there. Oh well.
I would suggest driving along Asilomar and then walking on the boardwalk. I would also do a hike. I really liked Garrapata State Park. It is right off HWY 1. Hmmmm... I would also go to the Aquarium and take a walk/bike ride along the coastal path.
There are still lots of places I have visited. Monterey is a place that you are always finding something new.

Love the shot of Drew on his bike.
And yes, Californication has to be the most tightly-wound state EVER!
