August Meets the Ocean

 First trip to the beach.

 Swimsuit twins.

 Awww.

 Beach dance-off per Drew's request.

First family picture with 4 kids.

 Couldn't resist.

Drew to the Rescue

Last weekend there was an open house at the new Public Safety Training Center.

Tiger Cub Drew got to earn a patch by going.

His day included learning how they lift fingerprints from crime scenes,
 .
exploring emergency vehicles,
.
 target practice,

and saving Bob's life.

In previous Tiger Cub news...
For the October pack meeting there was a trunk or treat.
He was the treat in the trunk.

Watching and Waiting

Watching the rain/waiting for my family to get here.

They got here and there were some introductions.

Then an initiation (the work of Cole):

And some happy kids.

He's Portable

Our 1128 square foot rectangle of a home is now at maximum occupancy.

So this is August's current sleeping arrangement.

He gets moved from room to room throughout the day depending on who is home.

Not sure what plan B is for when he grows out of this.

So ya if anyone wants to go in on a group gift...
there's a beautifully remodeled 2586 sq foot home just down the street for only $719,000.

He'd appreciate it.

It's Plane to See

Sorry I can't help the bad pun titles today.

Justin took Owen/Drew/Sally to a couple airplane museums on Columbus Day.

Cause Columbus flew, right?
.
These museums were 1 1/2 hours away, which meant August & I had a nice, quiet day.

Justin is in the middle of paternity leave (one really nice military perk).

He's been awesome to do so much around the house and with the kids.

But he might almost be ready to go back. Not sure how much of a break this has been for him.

But I'm loving it. Haven't had real life kick in yet since having August.

Mentally preparing for Monday...

Stay Drug Free

Justin's gets all sorts of "Stay Drug Free" paraphernalia thanks to his job.
Most of it has been crap.
But then he came home with some oversized shirts.
Wait, all of it is still crap.
But it makes for some happy kids.

Past Tents

Our King Benjamin tent for Sunday conference viewing.
Not sure how much was actually watched from in there, but it's a fun thought every couple years.

One tent led to another...and since there was no school/work the next day,
Justin/Owen/Drew/Sally camped out back.
