8 Days Apart

 8/10
Justin finished his summer Arabic course on the 9th.
(pretty sure he got an A. holler.)

But then he had to leave right after for AZ to make it to his brother Christian's wedding.

We stayed behind because school had just started.
Also, Justin had to go straight to Camp Pendleton afterwards for a week of Reserves duty.

Boo for spending his week off away.
Yay for insurance.

In my eyes, here was his week:
8/12
During one of his peaceful runs in beautiful weather.

And here was mine:
8/15

But really, Justin was bored out of his mind most of the week and would've rather been home.

And I did have some good moments:
 8/13
Yes, introducing Auggie to that dinosaur falls in the good category.

 8/15
A peaceful after school snack.
That baby thinks he has more than one tooth.

8/14
A deer walked by.
Nevermind that it was mangly and probably in-bred.

8/16
A Friday afternoon at the park then movie night with friends.

A few more questionable moments:
8/11
I got home from Stake Conference and realized my earrings didn't quite match.
(yes, I took all 4 kids to stake conference alone)

This was better than a few weeks ago when I realized during church
that I was wearing my pajama bottoms underneath my dress.

Can I still post pictures of my 7 and 9 year olds in the bath?
8/13
I feel the need to document that hour-long bubble bath that drenched the bathroom.

Then there was the unfortunate accident on our walk to school.
8/15
Owen tripped while running with the stroller.
The stroller went off the curb and tipped with A in it.
Goose egg.

Grateful I had a slow work week and that we got a date last night.

Wait, you seriously wore your pj bottoms to church? Awesome.

I can't stop laughing that you wore your jammies to church. I'm guessing they were shorter than your dress? Because if not that is the funniest thing ever. I have almost done that many times but never made it to church with a jammydress. However I have made it to church wearing mascara on only one eye. No wonder no one talked to me that day.

I feel like that's how my life is everyday! I'm stuck with huge messes and lots of whining and Nathan is off schmoozing clients and going to the gym. We have to look for the happy moments! Oh, and I love the jammies at church :) Oh, dear.
