Good Intentions

Like when Owen came in proudly showing me the weeds he had pulled.
And I got excited and encouraged him to keep going.
Then went to inspect and found he had been pulling my little lettuce sprouts.
I caught him with exactly one left, and there it is.

Or like when today while I was taking a shower the kids emptied the dishwasher without being asked.
But the dishes were dirty.

if it makes you feel any better, my husband has been known to do me a "favor" and put away dirty dishes too.

It's so nice to have "helpers" around! :)

Yesterday I came home from running and Gavin had "washed" all the dishes and put them away but didn't use any soap. At least they try.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I love getting help like that. Like when my kids pick me flowers that are really weeds.

OH, now your lettuce means so much more! Hanna did the same thing...just pulled up all my onions. But she is only 1. haha. You are a good sport.

Hahaha, you gotta give them credit for trying. One of these days they'll get it right.
