Magic

It's rainy and kids are coughing.
Perfect day for the best chicken noodle soup ever.

That chicken is nasty. This is the only recipe I'll deal with a whole chicken for.

Instead of bow-tie pasta, use:
Homemade Noodles
2 beaten eggs
4 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups flour
Combine egg, milk, and salt. Add enough flour to make stiff dough. Roll very thin (VERY thin...even thin ones turn out thick once boiled) on floured surface. Using pizza cutter, slice inch wide noodles. Drop into boiling soup and cook, uncovered, about 10 minutes.

The second picture looks super yummy!! And the first picture notsomuch. I have a huge issue with whole raw chickens as well. Which is why I pretty much only cook with boneless skinless breasts. if the whole chickens came pre-washed, I'd totally do it more! Soup looks delish! I'll have to try the noodles, too!

That soup is the best. Anytime I see it or eat it I think of you. Your noodles look a lot better than mine, wish you could have seen them :)
