State Pride

Haven't put any iron lone stars on our house (like the rest of the neighborhood),
but this Texas state pride is kind of contagious.

How do you find time to post so much!?! You make the time, don't you? I don't. I need to be more like you. Love Sally's hair in this pic. And LOVE state/national pride. It is totally contagious!

As for Texas state pride... my four years in Texas as a child consited of 4-years of Texas history, 1-year of US history and 4-years of wondering why almost every kid had a "Native Texan" shirt

Brian's from Texas and people from Texas LOVE that they are from Texas. The first ten minutes my father-in-law spent with my parents was telling them the wonderful things that make Texas, Texas - like Texas is the only state that still has the "right" to become a country if it wants...but, seriously, I want an iron star for my house :) secretly...H.E.B. has a pretty good selection and I always wonder if I can fit one into my suitcase or have it as a carry-on...
