San Angelo Ain't that Bad

This place has cool parks.

And a LOT of state pride.
So many houses have huge iron stars decorating them.
After the pledge each morning at school, the kids say another pledge just about Texas.

Strangers are so friendly.

People are very pro-military.

And these sheep are randomly all over the place.
Wait, not sure if that's good or bad.
Drew was hiding from me.
Just had to clarify that the sheep did not poop him out (Justin).

And I like a city with a river.

Also need to clarify that I did not pop Drew's collar...his playing must've done that.

Just two things: a. your children are so beautiful. and b. you or your camera (or both) take amazing pictures. What camera do you use? I'm in the market.

I love the pictures, and I love that Your new place is America and Texas loving. Those sheep are a good thing by the way. I have seen things like them before. In VA beach I think they have mermaids like that...or some other aquatic thing. they are painted by different artists and placed all over, kinda fun.

First of all, let me just say I absolutely LOVE Sally's dress. And yes, there is something pretty cool about Texas and their American/State pride. I like that pretty much everyone speeds and they expect it, and they pull to the side to let you pass. Having driven in over half of the states, I really like that there. Enjoy your time at Goodfellow.

I am so glad you are surviving the big change! And Sally has the cutest dress I have ever seen!

It actually looks really pretty there. I'm so glad you are making the adjustment well. It's not easy to leave Monterey. The sheep looks really cool painted like that!

Looks like fun! It's ironic because I just started reading These Is My Words (I'm pretty sure you said you read that) and they just trekked to San Angelo, their dad died, and now they're headed back. I'm glad you didn't have to get to San Angelo via wagons.

Wow. I say this all the time but frame the pic of Drew and Sally. It's one you'd see in a magazine! Love her dress and curls!!!

People from Texas LOVE that they are from Texas. It's so funny. I think one of the first things out of my Father-in-law's mouth when he met my parents was a list of the virtues of Texas. It's not too bad...you could be in worse places :) You always make the most of every place I've ever seen you in - so I know Texas will be even more appealing to me with all of your cool posts...

Yay! The dress isn't enormous like I thought it would be! I thought she would have to wait 2 years for that one. It looks so cute and pretty there. That park looks like a lot of fun!
