Caping

Yes I'm still talking about Christmas.

These capes were my favorite gift I gave (made w/my early Christmas present... a sewing machine).

I used this tutorial.

I had a Wonder Woman/Bat Girl version my mom made when I was little so I thought Owen and Drew needed their own.

Wasn't their favorite gift but once they had em on they could only be called Batman and Superman.

Then Owen took his off and said he's ready to be Owen again.

i love them they are too cute. the kids have grown so much. yes teaching is once a month so that will be nice and at least most of them will pay attention unlike primary. Luke is not sure what to think of his calling only cause he is not sure what it really is.hehe. hope you are all well. Bubba still talks about HIS SHAUNA!!

I'm beyond jealous that you can sew and not ony sew but that you can sew something wearable!
Those are really cute.

you are way too awesome! I just can't keep up! :) I want to learn how to sew. All these military formal balls, and it is HORRIBLE to try and find something modest & cute. I have so many ideas in my head about creating different dresses from scratch, but I can't sew. Remember the last military ball ...it included my scissors, and the hotglue gun, and safety pins?! YES I need to learn to sew!

Those are awesome. You're such a good mom. Boys need to be super heroes every now and then. I especially like their Batman Superman Mobile! That's one wicked ride.

Still waiting for the picture of you in the wonder girl cape. Definitely blog worthy.
Oh, and kudos on the capes. You're out of control, a regular martha stewart!

Hey! You got the "poop" cutie to comment on your blog! And your capes turned out so great!!! My nacho ones, not so much...didn't have time to finish yet and since I was winging it with the pattern, they might need some more tweaking.
