How Much Would You Pay to See a Train Wreck?

Worst casting.

The acting...made me think I could be an actress.

Hated Edward.

Was bugged by: Jacob, Eric, Mike, Rosalie, Carlisle, Alice's hair, Jasper, Bella & Esme's baseball hats, Billy's stare-down, the adaptation from book to movie, the timing of when music would come in (so cheesy)...for starters.

Kind of redeemed it: Bella, Charlie, Bella's mom (she was in 24 so that made me like her), Jessica, Alice, Emmett, Victoria, the song they danced to at Prom, and the lights they danced under.

There's something fun about watching such a mess of a movie, though so go see it. Oh wait, you probably already have.

Twilight opening night, brave move!
There is nothing I love more than making fun of stuff.

P.S. when I made the comment about hating pda on blogs I was thinking more along the lines of kissing pictures (although some couples can pull it off)

Wow. I thought it was good. But I guess everyone has differnt opions right!

I TOTALLY agree with you. I was completely disappointed, and thought I was alone in that opinion. Bummer huh?

I totally loved it. But I'll admit I laughed out loud at quite a few cheesy moments. I've only read the first book, so I probably would have been pleased no matter what.

So, I totally don't know what I thought of the movie at this time. But yes, some of the characters were not what I was expecting! But it was fun to watch!

Haha. I've heard mixed reviews but mostly that it was ridiculously cheesy. Jamie went to the midnight showing and told me about the "hang on, spider monkey" line and I've decided not to see it! (Actually I wasn't planning on seeing it even though I've read all 4 books.) I also heard that Jacob's wig was out of control.

I haven't read the book, nor have I seen the movie. So, I am one of the few. I don't know...reading about vampires just doesn't sound appealing to me. But I know there's more to it then that! Sorry it wasn't good. :-(

Finaly!!! someone with my views I thought the movie was realy slow, chessey - unscripted, not to mention the fact that I got to sit next two a hole bunch of preteeners they voice their opion at every little thing(but i also got to sit next to my hubby ha ha ah not many women can say that!) ahhh such a bad movie and such a good book Glad I read before I watched the movie cuse other wise I might not of read the book! I give it a D-

Whoa women.. that's an expensive ticket! Mine was only $7.50.. course this is Tooele. Haha, I loved the movie! The acting was incredibly cheesy though! I like Edward in the movie, hated him in the books. Jacob is the bomb! And Bella wasn't whiny enough! Haha, I could talk about the movie for hours =P ttyl!!

I've seen it twice now and loved it. There were actually some things I liked better about the movie than the book. I actually thought the acting was good. I took my husband with me the second time and he thought it was excellent. We stopped and bought the soundtrack on the way home. I'll be seeing it once more, at the very least, and buying the DVD the day it comes out.

I've been a blog lurker for a while. I'm Jenny L's sister-in-law.

Agree with you here, sista! I think maybe had we had a better crowd with whom to view it, we might have been more into certain parts. I dunno. Jacob's teeth were waaaaaaaaaaaaay too white!

Worst $9.50 spent??? :)

I didn't think it was THAT bad, although there were times when I was like, wha??? Mostly, I had fun with it. :) Edward wasn't my fav, and Jacob....the nose...couldn't get over it. :( I was wanting to see someone more chiseled.

What about being bugged by Emmett always standing up in/on the cars (jeep & back of pick-up) or Edward & Bella being tree monkeys?? That was painful for me.... Or Bella stammering she didn't ever want Edward to leave her...VERY PAINFUL. :) I'll stop there... I was entertained, but glad I had the book background.

Hilarious! I've been talking about the exact same things to Emily and Molly all week! I'm glad it was a little on the cheesy side, safe for kids, but how about Bella in her undies!?! She was always in ratty pjs, and HADN'T brought the pjs her Mom bought her...so many things needed to be different. And they left out SOOOO much. Definitely hated the climbing trees thing, and how all of the sudden they couldn't live without each other, like you blinked and they were eternally connected...so weird. Glad I had to books to make myself feel better with. Did anyone else think the glowing skin thing was so awkward looking - and he was mad when he showed her. Oh, I could go on and on...but you pretty much got it all. The soundtrack is actually really good though...especially the prom song :)

I COMPLETELY agree. Believe it or not, I braved the crowds and went to the midnight showing with a bunch of friends. Talk about a disappointment. Seems like all the teenyboppers liked it, though, so maybe I'm just getting too old and I expect too much. Hmmm...

Ok first. Where does the person live that only Paid $7.50!!! I did not know that still existed! For the record I really LIKED it. I was plesanly surprised. The acting i just figured was suppose to be that way. In my mind the Cullens along with Bella were kind of socially retarded outside there own kind. So the acting fit. The character looks were ok except Jasper was so NOT what I pictured!! I went to the 12:01 with Bethany, Erica, my sister SHannon and my niece Gabby. It was a great time!! I will BLog as soon as Bethany gets me the picture we took which hopefully will be soon i forgot my camera!

so I actually went to the midnight showing! I can't believe I stayed up so late (on a "school night")for such a let down!

The movie was so choppy! I COULDN'T STAND Bella, parts of Edwards acting, Jessica, Mike, Eric, Jacob's hair, the baseball hats, Bella's sweater/leggings at prom, the "venom sucking" scene, the cheesy scene on the baseball field when they are all "growling" at each other, or whatever it is they were doing.

I kind of like James, Victoria, Emmett, Alice
(when I say I liked them, it's more like they didn't suck as much as the others)

I'm so ticked they didn't make this movie better!! Seriously I could have played their parts better!!
LOVED THE BOOKS!
