The Lone Carrot

The one and only carrot our garden produced.

And by the time I discovered it was ready, it was TOO ready. Rotted all in the middle. Next time it should poke it's little orange top out to at least give me a little hint.

Wow, it looks HUGE! But that could be the tiny man holding it and the angle of the camera. It's hard to say...how many carrots did you plant? Maybe you've bene feeding rabbits.

how fun, we can't grow carrots here, the ground is too hard. my kids love picking the stuff from our garden.

I'll give you a hint on how to know when to harvest zanahorias (carrot in spanish, consider this your spanish mastery word of the day).... When the green top is as tall as Owen.

That sucker is HUGE. The carrots we grew all got picked when they were like 2-3 inches long. :)

yeah so we had the exact opposite problem. We didn't follow the instructions, and we just planted a million seeds on top of each other and we got a thousand miniature carrots! It was hilarious! When we tried to wash the dirt off them they would basically disappear!
